L4D Transatlatic Double Date
This is our first double date on l4d. this is filmed from the perspective of Amber and I; I'm the top screen(Louis), she is the bottom screen(Francis). Lee(burnsknight) is Bill and his wife Nic(nicnutmeg) is Zoey. This was Nic's first time using the Xbox controller so she was getting used to moving around and what not, I think she did quite well as a first time gamer! It was super fun and hilarious at times! I hope to do it again sometime! I got some Broken Social Scene as the music, I thought it added nice touch :-) At the end is a hilarious bit of versus we played!

Thanks for putting the video up, it was good fun and Nic did enjoy herself but occasionally felt she was letting the side down not being able to use the controls competently. For her first time on a console in over 10 years I thought she did great and we'll soon have her up to speed. It's the 'look' R-stick she has most trouble with so I may set her up on something like Fallout 3 where she can have a good wander around one of the towns without getting shot at.
ReplyDeleteyeah that sounds good, or the cod4 training run. just tell her to think about when she is walking, she really walks....but only moves her head when needed. most peoples biggest problem is they like to push both sticks forward resulting in moving forward and looking up. but we all did that starting out...its the nature of things!
ReplyDeleteForgot to say nice choice of backing music. We quite like Broken Social Scene and Feist is one of their members. We've been listening to Feist since she caught our attention with her solo album 'The Reminder'. Which BSS album did you take the track from to play over the video?
